Meet Me

Learner, Athlete & Creative Thinker

I am a motivated and hardworking 11th-grade homeschool student with strong academic goals and a passion for athletics. I am a dedicated basketball player, training year-round to improve my performance on and off the court. I bring that same competitive spirit into my studies, especially in science and writing, where I consistently challenge myself to grow.

Outside of schoolwork and sports, I enjoy volunteering, creative arts, and developing leadership skills. I am exploring future college pathways in sports performance and health sciences, with dreams of helping other young athletes build confidence and strength.

My Interests & Passions

I love staying active and pushing myself to get better every day, especially in basketball. Training, conditioning, and competing have taught me discipline, teamwork, and how to handle pressure. I’m excited to keep improving my skills and seeing how far I can go.

I also enjoy photography and clothing design because they let me be creative and see the world from new perspectives. I like capturing moments from games, nature, and family adventures and turning them into something that tells a story.

Another big interest of mine is health and sports science. I like learning how the body works, how athletes build strength and speed, and how nutrition affects performance. One day, I’d love to help other athletes feel strong, confident, and capable of reaching their goals.

Outside of that, I enjoy spending time with animals, creating music on the piano, and finding new ways to challenge myself both mentally and physically.

Featured Projects (Project-Based Learning)

World Civilization Museum Exhibit:

For this project, I designed a mini museum-style exhibit that highlighted major contributions from ancient world civilizations. I created display panels, artifact replicas, and informational cards to show how cultures like Ancient Egypt, Greece, and China influenced modern society. It helped me understand the connections between history, art, architecture, and human innovation.

Environmental Field Study

During my environmental field study, I explored a local ecosystem to observe wildlife, identify native plants, and study how human activity affects natural habitats. I collected data, took photos, and wrote a report about what I learned. This project made me more aware of how important conservation is and how small actions can help protect the environment around us.

Achievements & Character Growth

This year, I have worked hard to grow not only academically, but also through service and athletics. I focused on building strong character, staying active, and finding ways to contribute to my community. These experiences have helped me develop leadership, confidence, and a stronger sense of purpose.

Community Service: Helping Shelter Dogs

I volunteered at our local animal shelter, spending time walking, playing with, and caring for dogs who needed attention and socialization. I also helped at adoption events, where I learned how to communicate with visitors and support the staff. It has been an amazing way to give back and make a real difference in the lives of animals.

Competitive Athletics: Softball & Basketball

I competed in softball this year while continuing to train for basketball, the sport I’m most passionate about. Participating in two sports has taught me perseverance, teamwork, and how to stay committed to my goals. Balancing training with school has helped me build self-discipline and time-management skills, things I know will help me beyond the court and field.
